If you're a stat geek and interested in the US elections (I'm both), you'll *love* this site.

Here are some other websites I've been reading recently (I'm keeping track of them with the excellent del.icio.us). A lot of them are techie, because that seems to be what I remember to tag as I'm reading them. No promises that they'll be interesting to you!
Need one of these for Kisiizi, I think.
Need an RP-SMA to N-Type connector for the Omni antenna I'd like (below)
I had a couple of nice shots where the photo was exposed for the sky - this is a great way to simulate an ND in photoshop.
Possibly useful for the hospital - thinking about hooking a pmr radio into the telephone paging system.
Incredibly useful form to plug in your wavelength / antenna design and get the measurements for a yagi. Even includes the estimated gain. (I'm looking at one for a PMR radio for the hospital).
One of the things I'm looking at for Kisiizi is an inline power controller, which would measure the frequency of the mains and switch off the hot water if it gets too low. This IC might be useful for measuring the frequency.
No use for this, but having a self-contained open source means of allowing people to upload video is very neat.
We've just bought one of thee USB wifi sticks to take to Uganda - useful detachable aerial, good range apparentlly. Edimax distribute binary drivers for windows / OSX, but these instructions for getting the stick working on Linux (ubuntu) look really useful.
Love this. I'm going to try it on our temporary wifi link.
