The unorthodox way to open an electric window

A couple of weeks ago, we went on an expedition to Bushara Island Camp on Lake Bunyoni (purportedly the second-deepest lake in Africa, depending on who you ask).

Sister Ann (Kate’s colleague on childrens’ ward) generously lent us her car. Unfortunately though, the windows didn’t open due to some ongoing electrical difficulty. Travelling in Uganda with no opening windows is not a great deal of fun – it gets hot pretty quickly. I found my own (very temporary) solution to the problem, recorded for posterity by Kate. We know how to have fun…
